Striped bass are still boiling in the morning and then there are isolated boils into the afternoon and evening. I wouldn't leave the narrows if you don't have to, all the striped bass action is happening in the lower set of narrows. The last few days the fatfish have been almost impossible to find, let alone catch. There have been crappie to 2 pounds caught, the first time in a while crappie have been landed. Smallmouth and largemouth bass have started eating shad on a regular pattern. Top water baits, jerk baits, Rat-l-Traps, and frogs have been producing nice tournament-worthy bass. (925) 449-5201
