Water temp is down to 66 degrees and its getting pretty cold in the mornings. Mt.Lassen planted 1000 pounds of rainbowson Tuesday at the public launch. Some of those fish are already getting caught by shore fishermen throwing powerbait. One angler was drifting a night crawler for Trout across from the marina and hooked into a monster 20 pound Striper.

Striped bass are not boiling like they were due to the drop in water temp. Bigger Stripes can be seen cruising in Heron Bay and Swallow Bay and are hitting topwater. Catfish are still getting caught by those who fish for them. Just the other evening a gentleman was fishing with Anchovies on the south end and landed a 25 lb cat but the marina was already closed so we didn't get a picture. Good luck everyone!

Anglers of the week:

Michael Hollister caught a 20 lb Stripe on a crawler across from the marina
Ricky, Manny, Maya of Livermore caught a mix of cats and Stripes on Anchovies in the Narrows
