Road is open and fishing is on. Trollers should try using Wedding rings, Needlefish, Thomas Bouyants, Phoebe,Cripplure, Triple Teazers, behind a Seps dodger, Cowbell, Ford Fender or your favorite dodger tipped with a nightcrawler. Be sure to enhance your trolling rig with scent. Fly fishermen should try sparrow nymphs, bead bird nest, ants, and bead head nymphs. try using a intermediate sink line for best results. Bait casters should try using Berkley garlic eggs, Gulp Eggs, Berkley Garlic Power Bait, Salmon Peach, Corn Scent Power Bait, Berkley Mice Tails, and nightcrawlers. Use a sliding sinker rig to float your bait. For nightcrawlers try inflating them or use scented mallows to float them. Lure casters should try Panther Martin spinners, Rooster Tails, and Kastmasters. Stay out of Hobart Creek. It is off limits until July 1st. Be aware of the Lake Level flow law. This is where the creek is runnig into the lake. As long as there is flow it is also illegal to fish till July1st.
