If you’re looking for some nice Trout, Lake Siskiyou is one place you need to go. I have been fishing the lake for the past week and each day produced some great fishing as well as some quality Trout. My clients landed 24 Trout on Thursday and Friday trolling Seps kick dodgers (smeared with krill paste) with woolly bugger worm trailers. Thursday was quite a challenge due to the weather; a mix of icy cold wind rain and snow made it hard to troll but the Trout didn’t care as the guys landed 8 nice Trout (3 Browns and 5 Rainbows) in the 1.5 to 3 pound range. Friday was a complete 180 turn, as the weather went from crappy the day before to extremely pleasant warm sun and no wind. The guys hooked up over 20 Trout landing 17 of them. All the Trout were Rainbows 2 of which topped the 5 pound mark. We caught all the Trout while trolling in an S pattern at  .7 to 1.3 mph, in 25 to 45 feet of water.
