My clients Cynthia and Dan did not catch many fish today. The bite was pretty slow but what we did catch was quality. Dan landed a nice 3 pounder while backtolling a rebel crawdad plug near the Fishhook restaurant, while Cynthia took the big fish honors with a very fat 5 pounder. This Steelie was every bit as fat as it was long. As Dan said, "that Steely was on the feed bag". I've caught Steelhead that have been as much a 6 inches longer but were not as fat as this guy. It is always great to see Steelhead or Trout like the two we caught today, it just shows how much food is in the system for these Klamath fish to eat.

***I will be at the ISE Sportmans Expos in San Mateo (14th-17th) and Sacramento (21st-24th) along with Jim Burney of the Klamath Ranch Resort (Blue Heron RV Park and Fishhook resturant) come down and see us in our booth, and get in on the Expo specials***
