Summer time is all about beating the heat and having fun doing it. McCloud Reservoir provides the perfect venue for fun in the sun on a hot day. The reservoir offers opportunities for boating, fishing, swimming, and water skiing all summer. The Trout fishing is outstanding despite air temperatures over 90 degrees. The cold water coming into the Reservoir from the McCloud river keeps the lake at a nice temperature for the Browns, Brooks and Rainbows. Casting, Fly Fishing and Trolling are a few easy ways to catch limits of these great eating Trout. Start early and fish during the cool part of the day, then kick back and relax in the afternoon and enjoy the boating, swimming and skiing options McCloud offers.

Give me a call at (530) 905-0758 to get in on the fun.
