Fishing on the Klamath river had been steadily improving over the last week. Salmon are now spawning throughout the entire river system. This in turn have the Steelhead extremely egg focused. Steelhead can be caught simply fishing near the Salmon reds. Fishing under and indicator with an egg pattern, back trolling plugs, and back tolling bait will catch fish in the 10 to 25 inch class. For the next few months Winter Steelhead will be the name of the game on the Klamath river and your chance of landing that 25 to 30 inch 7 to 10 pounder is now.
