Mornings on Whiskeytown Lake have been very windy the past few days, but the Kokanee bite has been great!  Getting out early is the key to bagging limits because the bite seems to really shut down before noon.  Today was a day for the Kids in the boat and they did a great job of catching their limits before we experienced a slow down in the afternoon.  The Kokanee bite was best at 55' feet for me again today and pink, orange, or white were the hot colors.  Nothing seems to be slowing this fishery down so get out there and have some fun with these amazing fish!
