We fished the Sacramento River today. It was a bit on the slow side for us and we only landed 3 of the 6 fish we hooked.. Although we landed just a few other Jack salmon, the highlight of the day was catching a 7 lb. hatchery steelhead that put up an awesome air show and a great fight!  October is right around the corner and the King salmon should be loaded in the upper river.  I'll be fishing until 10/15 and still have some open dates.  Call me at (707) 616-1905 if you want to get out and catch some salmon on one of the most scenic sections of the  Sacramento River.
