Shasta Lake trout continue to bite. Yesterday my client Jesse and found good action in multiple spots. The Trout still deep around a 100 feet but have begun move around a little more as they get ready to spawn. Sep's UV dodger with a shad imitation trailer lathered in Pro-Cure Carpspit was the best producing set up. The small mouth and spotted bass were active as well. Be caught 9 bass on the troll up to 3 pounds. The Lake is in beautiful shape and the surface temperature is dropping. It has gone down from 80 to 70 degrees over the last 2 weeks. Fishing traffic is minimal so give me a call if you'd like to get in on the action.
