Pat Young with the catch of the day! There are some nice hatchery steelhead in the Anderson area, but they are making you work for them.

Today I fished the Sacramento River in the Anderson area.  Perfect day with great weather and great clients!  Fished for salmon in the morning and didn't see any rollers or get any bites so we switched to steelhead fishing.  Steelhead and trout fishing was slow over all, but we did manage to catch a great keeper hatchery steelhead.  Hoping the inbound weather will pull some more salmon and steelhead up higher in the system this week.
