Trout was finally stocked on 12/21/17. Several large Bass were caught within hours of the Trout stock on large swim baits. The Bass are definitely back in feeding mode and nice fish are also being caught on drop shots, Shiners, and Crank Baits. Some Panfish have also been caught off the fishing pier this week with Cole Bolton pulling in 4 Bluegill with the largest weighing in at an impressive 2.8 pounds.

The Bass bite was hit and miss this week with weather fluctuations throwing off the usual routine. Anglers having success were getting hit in anywhere from 20 to 40 of water on drop shots, shiners and a few on crank baits. The Panfish have been elusive but some anglers are having success in 10 to 20 feet of water in both San Carlos Bay and Del Cerro Bay. No Catfish were reported this week. ...... Read More

The majority of Bass taken this week were on drop shots, shiners and a few on swim baits. The Bass are sitting in deeper water and are reluctant to bite but persistent fisherman are still able to hook up. The panfish are also sitting in deeper water but are feeding when you can find them.
