Fishing was slow on the Trask last weekend, mostly due to high water and being a little off color. This week looks like more of the same, with another weather system coming in mid-week. If predictions are correct the Trask will be high, but may fish late in the week. Bright colors and large presentation, as well as scent or bait are good bets when fishing high water. Float fishing jigs, beads, or bait, drift fishing, nymphing, and swinging flies or spinners are all good techniques.
