The Fishing is Super!
Colorado River
Our now local anglers Randy and Susan Brown are showing a 9.96 pound striper at 30 inches. this just under ten pound fish was landed by Susan and brought to shore by Randy in a nice surprise. she was fishing from their dock in the upper big bend area fro trout. this striper seemed to like the lure she was using and after about 20 minutes due to the light line it was in.

The Colorado river is producing some great catches, the fishing is super. Whether you are targeting the rainbow trout or the stripped bass you have a good chance to land some fish. Not sure what to use or where to go, stop in if we don’t have what you want we will get it for you. The stripers have been running in the 1 to 3 pound range but that is starting to change. I have been getting some great news from community park as the new shore line is working well. Both anglers and shore goers are enjoying the area. Whether you are catching fish or our suns rays it’s a great place. Rotary park is still producing some nice catches local angler dell Pragnell landed his limit using power bait from shore.
