Hat Creek continues to fish well with fish feeding mainly on Tricos in the morning, and PMDs and Baetis throughout the day. Parachute Adams and Rusty Spinners are both great flies right now. Keep it simple with nymphs, fishing Pheasant Tails, Hare's Ears, and black Micro Mays. The Tricos down in the flats are full swing and tons of fish can be found slurping spent spinners. The Caddis are coming off too, and swinging soft hackles is a great tactic now. With the warmer weather, focus your efforts in the morning and evening hours!
