Its looking to be a terrific King salmon season on the Sacramento River.  The fish are big this year and they are a blast to catch!  If you've been wanting to experience the thrill of catching a river King, now is the time to book your trip!  The run is already better than fisheries managers predicted and within another week, the Sac should be filled with fish heading up stream.  Water conditions are great, and with cooler temps this year, the kings are holding in water thats perfect for drifting eggs with spin rods!  Crowds are small most days as there are fish throughout the entire system.  No need to go fish next to dozens of boats this year, we have a lot of nice long drifts available to fish, especially along some of the most scenic sections of the Sacramento River.  I'll be bouncing around between Shasta Lake lake and the Sacramento River, but we can accomodate just about anyone looking for a King salmon trip.

He fishes many bodies of water in the Redding area, but also guides the Sacramento River and Feather River during certain times of the year. Jeff can also be found on the California coast chasing ocean fresh King salmon and steelhead each year.
