Sept. 5 meeting to discuss C2 Ranch A and H Project

The Southwest Regional Council of the Access and Habitat program will host a public meeting on Sept. 5 at noonto discuss a renewal of the C2 Ranch habitat improvement project. Interested parties can attend the meeting at ODFW’s Central Point Office at 1495 E Gregory Road, Central Point.
C2 Cattle Company is a 9,500 acre ranch located in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains about 20 miles northeast of Medford. The current project would continue work on the ranch to improve wildlife habitat for deer, elk, and turkeys, and to provide public hunting opportunities.
The A and H program funds projects that provide hunter access and/or improve wildlife habitat on private land in Oregon. It’s funded by a $4 surcharge on hunting licenses and big game auction and raffle tag sales.
