Today we fished the Sacramento River for King salmon down near Corning, Ca..  The morning started off slow like most mornings do this time of the year, but when the sun hit the water we got our first bite.  Our next fish came rather quickly after the first, quickly filling two limits in the boat.  The next several hours were very slow, but persistance paid off and on our last pass we boxed a nice 22 pound buck!  The salmon are spread out and we're still waiting for the big push of Kings expected any day now!  October looks great and I have available dates for King salmon trips on the Sacramento River out of Anderson, Ca.
