Heavy Trout Plants are Expected in the Next Few Months.

Trout planting continues at Lake Amador with 1500 pounds released this past week. Lightning trout in excess of 8 pounds continue to be caught. The best bait has been the Mice Tail tipped with dough bait. The lake has risen 14 feet from spilling. Scented baits also working for those fishing the shoreline. Heavy trout plants are expected in the next few months.
