Lake Camanche Fishing Report April 14th

Lake Camanche - Wallace, CA

Brandon Pekarek posted on FB 4/7 and wrote, “Hit Lake Camanche again today with my son and my buddy Ron. In the water at 6:30 and straight for Big Hat Island. Trolled speedy shiners at 14′ at 2.8 mph and had multiple takedowns, sometimes even doubles. We landed the first 6 in less than 2 hours and then finished the day with 3 more for a total of 9. Off the water by noon because It was hot as hell out today and lots of boats. All in all a great day with my son and my work buddy. Answered Question: yesterday the majority of the fish were caught on variations of orange colored lures. But the week before when we caught 13 there was no particular color pattern.”
