Current reservoir storage is at 34 percent of capacity and increasing. The reservoir is now ice-free. Approximately 4,700 legal-size rainbow trout have been recently stocked.
Anglers usually have good success catching holdover trophy-size trout in the upper reservoir just after ice-out.
Construction of the new boat launch surface at the Mason Dam Boat Launch is now complete and the launch has re-opened to public access. Boaters will find much improved conditions for launching boats.
