Cats Are Excellent Catch Right Now

The water temperature is around 72 degrees.
Catfish: High Action: Cats are excellent catch right now with the warmer water and recent stoking of the Catfish near launch ramp 2. Next stock of Catfish will be June 7th, 2019. They are biting chicken livers, mackerel and anchovies.
Blue Gill: Medium Action: Caught this week on white and yellow jigs & wax worms across from the Marina.
Largemouth Bass: Medium Action: Largemouth are still hanging out in the reeds hitting on fronts, poppers and night crawlers.
Stripers: Low Action: Early morning hours by the inlet using cut bait.
Trout: No Action

Lake SkinnerThe water temperature is between 70-72 degrees. Water level is till up. Ballon and Wine festival is this coming weekend! No bait rentals or vessels on the lake period. Last stock of Catfish was on May 24, 2019. Bluegills: Low Action- jigs with wax worms and live crickets at the back of the East Bay and west of the ramp 2, also a night crawler will work. Water Level is Still Up
Lake SkinnerThe water temperature is between 69-70 degrees. Water level is still up pretty high. Largemouth: Plenty of smaller fish are being caught all over the lake, with a few quality Topwater fish being caught in the East End. Also try finesse fishing with the usual Roboworms and Senkos. Catfish: Next stock will be May 24th, 2019. A good number of fish coming out of the inlet area on chicken liver. Blue Gill: Try using mini jigs such as slab piggies in shallow areas...... Read More
