Today we had 3 boats fishing the Sacramento River below Balls Ferry.  Very slow plug bite in the morning, but once we broke out the bait rods, up came the nets. All of our guests caught salmon and had a really good time.  Certainly the best year of fishing we've seen in a few years and the fish are nice and big this season as well.  We're now looking into the months of November and December trip schedules and we're getting pretty thin on available dates.  We'll have salmon, steelhead, and Shasta Lake trout trips available through the new year.  (Sacramento River salmon closes on December 16th)...
