Still waiting on some rain/snow.

Looks like that ain’t happening until late November, ugh. We’ll get it, meantime, just enjoying the September’ish weather. Ain’t complaining, just nice to get some rainy days in and get fish looking up, or chasing some streamers.

Much as the same as last week. Ain’t too much to report. Nice days, cold nights. Water low and clear and cold up here in the Hirsch/ tough fishing. Water warmer and a bit higher down lower on the lower Truckee River in Nevada/ much better fishing.

We have got some good fish to chase, (streamers) just not too many. Not like when it’s cold and nasty out. You take what you got, weather and flow wise, and make it work. You can always make the nymphs work, and that we did a few days this weekend out East.

So enjoy the nice weather while it lasts, and start hoping for a good winter.
