The fishing continues to be great for Lingcod and Rock fish near Davenport and Ano Nuevo in 60-90 feet of water. The deep water near Wilder Beach has been wide open for big Rock fish. The Crab fishing is going good in 130-220 feet of water. The anglers using Squid, Mackrel, and Sardines are doing best. The Halibut are still being caught in 60-100 feet of water near the mile buoy and Capitola. There has been some Bluefin rumors around the point of Monterey. Surf Perch fishing has been wide open on the local beaches in town on Berkeley Gulp Sand worms and Night Crawlers. The winds are still calm and there is a small swell.
