Captain Jeff Brady and I had trips on the Sacramento River today. Fishing up high was pretty good with all the salmon in that section of the river and Captain brady got his crew on some really good fishing drifting egg presentations. A bit lower in the system, I found a tough bite overall, but we spent most of our day targeting late fall Kings. We know there aren't a lot around yet, but by next weekend we should see a lot more nice bright salmon in the Barge Hole.
