We ad a great morning fishing the Sacramento River and had only a handful of drifts today where we didnt catch a steelhead or a resident rainbow trout.  The guys stayed busy all day and we hardly had time to take much of a break from the steady action.  It did slow down in the afternoon, but still a solid day of fishing in my book.  The flows from Keswick Dam increased from 5,000 cfs to 7,000 cfs today, but water conditions remained good and was very fishable.  We had a great time and with lots of King salmon still spawning in the river, we should see a good egg bite for weeks to come.
