Striper: Medium Action: Some high numbers of schoolie stripers were reported consistently this week. One private boater who went out several times reported near 20 fish days throwing a large pencil popper.. Many other fish came on trolled lured.

Blue Gills: High Action: Crickets in the reeds or Mini Jigs tipped with meal worms/crawlers deployed a little deeper work tremendously well.

Cat Fish: High Action: Still likely to be the best bite on the lake. Many anglers reported success soaking anchovies throughout the lake. This bait has been having much increased success in 2019 so far! A good alternative would be chicken liver.

Large Mouth Bass: Medium Action: Overall the bass bite has slowed a bit with the larger models definitely feeling lethargic. Still very possible to stick them out a little deeper although if you’re looking for sheer numbers or just need a bite, throw a senko or small finesse bait up shallow and you’ll rope the smaller guys.

Trout: Medium Action: Most action has come to those of course willing to be out on the water on the stock day, or very soon after! Throwing mini jigs from the points around ramp 2 has been the most productive tactic!

Carp: No Action to be reported.
