Congratulations! To Dillon Hamilton Feb.Whopper Contest winner! Under the tutelage of an experienced angler this talented young man landed A Big One! This seven pound bass was caught using a nightcrawler on Senior Shoreline the 29th of February.

Excellent Week of Trout Fishing

It was an excellent week of trout fishing with plenty of big trout being recorded. Ken V. of Laguna Niguel led the charge with his 11.60# rainbow caught on a Creme Crawler at Crappie Rock. Other notable catches included Ron Peat’s 11.10# and Jeff Hoffard’s 10.70#. This Wednesday we are stocking trout yet again. Solid Week For Trout Fishing

It was a solid week for trout fishing with Senior Shoreline seeing a brief flurry of activity. Miguel Orozco of Vista had the biggest trout of the week with a 12.00# caught on green powerbait west of Senior Shoreline. This Wednesday we are stocking trout again so look for the action to pick up in time for the weekend. As the water temperatures continue to climb, the bass are beginning to show signs of life.
