The Shasta Lake bite slowed a bit for a few days, but it showed a modest increase today. Its been good fishing, but noticeably slower. The quality of the trout and a few 2 yr old Kings has been impressive and our clients are always shocked to see how husky our Shasta trout are. We're spoiled here on Shasta Lake and when we land 16-18" trout, I'm always saying the big bows will bite soon! Fishing Shasta Lake is always an adventure and every time the rods start bouncing, you never know whats on the end of the line. Its truly an amazing fishery.
