Since re-opening back up it has been super busy throughout the week. We had a brand-new building installed over the period we were shut and started off the summer fresh. We had a 10,000 lb. trout stocking about 2 weeks ago and anglers have been having no problem locating some fish. There has been many reports of limits of rainbow being caught of powerbaits and garlic scented worms. Some of the best action has been over by the west launch ramp, mainly because they stocked it on that side.

The stripers have been on the tougher side to locate. With that being said, we did see a giant boil in front of the marina in the late afternoon yesterday. Most catches have been off lug worms and cut baits, but if you are lucky enough to get on top of a boil you can snag one or two before they go back down. Most fish have been feeding on the shad and minnows.

The largemouth and smallmouth have been biting decently throughout the day. A lot of guys are using live shad which is almost too easy. Other anglers have been having luck on the drop shot and by using a reaction bait or fluke. Any bait fish color scheme has been best.

The bluegill and crappie have been the easiest to target, with most fish caught off a wax/meal worm.

The catfish have been making more of an appearance lately with some good sized cats being caught off garlic scented night crawlers or mackerel.
