LAKE TAHOE - North Shore: Gene St. Denis of Blue Ribbon Charters and Tahoe Trophy Trout at South Lake Tahoe, Calif. (530-544-6552): Fishing has been very slow. The bite is non-existent to slightly good, at best. Last week, on a day by day basis, we caught 5 Macks, we got skunked, we got 2, we got skunked, we got 3, we got 4, we got skunked. It is a transition time from winter to spring and it has been tough fishing. All the boats are reporting the same results. We have been trolling with silver Herring Dodger flasher blades and live minnows in a "Figure Eight" pattern. I've been fishing mostly at Cal-Neva Point and Dollar Point.
