Striped Bass: Chicken liver bait is still going strong with many fish being hooked over near the dam and inlet. Early morning is always the best!
Bluegill: Just this week solid reports began pouring in from anglers rental boats that tied in to good numbers of high quality panfish. Try using mealworms or crickets.
Catfish: Many catfish have been caught at the inlet. Chicken liver or anchovies have been working best.
Largemouth: Medium action on largemouth. Some top water action but mostly plastic worms and soft plastic swimbaits with underspins.
Trout: No Action
Carp: No Action to be reported.

Lake SkinnerStriped Bass: Solid cut bait bite is going on at the dam as well as off the main point near the marina. Some reports of boils happening in the early mornings as well as closer to closing time. Bluegill: Not many anglers focusing on bluegill although if you bring crickets you will likely connect to some fish! Pieces of night cralwers or whole red worms also work well. Lake SkinnerStriped Bass: Try chicken liver or other cut baits near the dam and inlet. Always keep an eye out for boiling school. Use top water lures or jerk baits for foaming fish. Trolling can also be a very productive tactic. Bluegill: We recommend bringing crickets and fly lining them in the east end. Another excellent bait is a whole mealworm or piece of nightcrawler.
