No recent fishing report.

Lake Selmac facilities operated by Josephine County Parks are currently open. More information about Josephine County Parks and responses to COVID-19 can be found on their website.

Bass and panfish are available here year-round. A recent visit here confirmed that weeds are thick near the SW portion of the lake such as the Trout Shelter boat ramp and Southwestern Shore. However near the dam, along the shore near the resort and at the docks near Teal Campground, there are nice patches of open water with vegetation nearby to cast to. A recent visit out here found some boat anglers reporting good bass fishing and bank anglers picking up the occasional bluegill and bass.

Bluegill fishing should be fun along the veg lines. A simple setup here of a nightcrawler under a bobber can be an easy setup for kids
