The summer long bite is still holding up, with breaking fish all over the main ale. Small flukes, and swimsuits have been getting bit the best and the average fish is 3 pounds. If you’re not into chasing boils there is a fair drop shot bite in 30’ to 40’ of water. Both catfish and panfish went unreported to the concession last week.

The bite that has gone on all summer continues to hold up, despite the weekdays cold, rainy weather. The majority of the bass population remains schooled up and chasing silversides on top, which once again made for some outstanding days on the water! Breaking fish have been providing the lions share of the bass action here, with some anglers reporting as many as 30 Largemouth a day. Small flukes seem to be the best bet, but top waters, A-rigs, and small swim baits have been producing as well. Drop shooting has been fair all over the lake in 20’ to 40; of water.
