Donner Lake is fishing okay for those who know where the Mackinaw Trout are located. Besides the Mackinaw, there aren’t many other species of fish biting at Donner Lake right now. The macks are biting around 80-90 feet of water. Anglers are jigging or trolling with quikfish, cut plugs, and big sierra spoons. Donner Lake is currently at 65% capacity.
