Water temp 52-53

Pedro has been fishing better than most lakes right now. Water is still super clear with the lack of rain causing no water flowing in back of creeks. The lake is right at 60ft low. The water has been steady or dropping lately keeping the majority of the fish deep but you can still catch a fish here and there up shallow usually better than average fish. The last 4 trips we’ve been averaging 13 to 16 lbs.

Hula grubs and brush hogs have been working in your standard craw colors 30 to 60 ft. We have been downsizing in weight size to get more bites. You can catch a lot of fish on finesse baits right now. Finesse wise I’ve been throwing Shad colors on my drop shot and my nail weighted senko. We did catch a few over 3lbs this week on a spoon in 50+ ft of water. There’s a tournament out there this weekend my guess is 14 or 15lbs to win it. If you are interested in improving your winter bass fishing either it’s locating the fish or a technique you struggle with call or text me and we can set up a day to get on the water thanks.
