Striped Bass: Water level is rising. Bite has picked up with several nice fish being caught near the inlet. A grade much better than usual. Anglers had success tossing chicken liver into the flowing current of the inlet.

Bluegill: Medium action for Bluegill using mealworms, wax worms and nightcrawlers. Fish are suspended in deeper water. Where you find one, you are bound to find others.

Catfish: Catfish is very slow this week with only a few Catfish reported. We suggest checking out new spots with the changing water level.

Largemouth Bass: Largemouth bass bite has improved. Fish seem to be grouped together. A slow rolled hard bait can be very effective. The water temp is still low so use a slower retrieve.

Trout: Stockings are back. For best results try to come target as soon as possible after a delivery of fresh fish. Use powerbait and mini jigs. Last trout stock was January 4th & 16th.
