Our local angler Kenan Guleryuz is shown here with his Striped Bass that he landed in the Rotary Park area. He was fishing with one of his favorite swim baits to land this 17.18 pound Striper at 36 inches in length. For most anglers that target these larger stripers it takes a lot of effort and multiple casts. Our Community Park area and near the casinos are great spots or areas to try this type of fishing. While anchovies is the bait of choice for our bait anglers and works very well. The glide baits and swim baits are very popular and have produced some of the larger fish our area has to offer.

 Even up on Lake Mohave angler like to troll with some of the same lures that work well here along the shores of the Colorado River below the Davis Dam. We are getting some great rainbow trout fishing and anglers have been having success using various spinners and mice tails. for our bait anglers the trout are going after night crawlers and power bait the green maybe orange and pink seem to be favorites. I happen to like the spinners either a blue fox in the gold or a panther martin the yellow with red spots. These are just to name a couple of my favorites while other anglers have there are favorites they just might be in your tackle box with the rest of your arsenal. Its also a good practice that when your spinner is not producing to try and use some bait or the other way around. any way hope this helps for now and we will wee you in soon to share that catch mostly thanks for all of your support
