Brown trout fishing on Shasta Lake is underway and we're getting into some great ones already!  Add in a mix of some great rainbow trout as well and a great time can be had by all.  This time of the year is quality over quantity, but often times we can go to areas of the lake that hold good numbers of 16"-20" rainbows, making for a great option for filling limits on a good bite.  Lots of people come out to fish Shasta Lake in March and April for a shot at a trophy brown, and its for good reason.  Shasta Lake holds some great brown trout to 6-9 lbs with the occasional 10+ lb brown a real possibility every day.  We've seen a few caught on Shasta over 13 lbs in recent years, but there are bigger browns down there too!  We've hooked into some real giants, but have yet to land one to date. There are a few stories of browns over 20 lbs. but we haven't hooked into any that big as far as we know.  Some of these big browns we hook into never get seen before they throw the hook.  We catch browns year round, but Feb thru April are times we go out and fish for them exclusively.  If getting into a trophy brown trout is on your bucket list, come on out and fish with us.  We don't get them every trip, but we are your best option for attaining that goal of catching that trout of a lifetime.  Many of the people who fish with us go home having caught their biggest trout ever during their trip. We take pride in providing that kind of an experience for our clients, and work hard every day to turn trophy trout dreams into a reality when we can.  Call (530) 510-2925 to book your trip.

Thank you!
