  • What's the catch? A 10.6 pound bass was caught and released near the boat dock on Saturday morning with a swimbait. The bass activity has picked up! With spring on the horizon, bass are starting to spawn. Expect to see more bass caught in the shallows like Siesta and Cloister Coves. The trout bite was strongest at 30-50 foot depths along the Hermit Cove buoy line and in the center of the lake between the t-dock and Sentry Point. Tried and true lures/baits were Hookup Bait, nightcrawlers, and Powerbait. Bluegill are still hanging around Half Moon Cove. Anglers are using meal worms and nightcrawlers.
