Slow. Fish movement has been slow and fishing pressure has been down. Through monitoring activities, ODFW staff have seen winter steelhead spawning in the tributaries.  Peak spawning is right around the corner, but anglers still have until March 31 to try for a steelie. Anglers are seeing spawned out steelhead in about half of their catch. Please remember to practice good fish handling techniques to reduce stress on released fish.
