Striped Bass: Lake water is pretty low but is rising. Chicken liver or anchovies down at the dam and inlet area will work best. Lake Skinner is fully owned and ready to be fished! Stripers have been doing well the past week.
Bluegill: Medium Action- Bluegill bite has picked up. Small rooster tails or kastmasters can also be very effective.
Catfish: Slow action- use chicken liver, anchovies or mackerel on the bottom throughout the lake but especially near Ramp 2 on the inlet area. Catfishing is relatively slow lately.
Largemouth: Jerk baits are very effective currently for active fish. Creature baits can work well for the more lethargic fish.
Trout: Last stock was on March 26th, 2021.
Carp: No Action to be reported.
