We have run several trips on the Sacramento River for Striped bass the past week or so and the fishing has been pretty darn good.  We're scoring limits most days, but we've fallen short a few days when the Striped bass were on the move.  Its early in the season so we should see more improvements this week into next.  The weather has been beautiful making for some very comfortable days on the water.  The best fishing has been in the Colusa area down and drifting live minnows has been our best producer, as usual.  The river levels are low, but still has plenty of water to hold schools of Stripers in this section of the river.  Stay away from the crowds if you want to catch the most fish!
