In local news, the New Seaforth afternoon Half Day had excellent Kelp bass fishing. They finished their day with 58 kelp Bass and 100 Kelp Bass released and 1 Halibut.

The Tribute finished their overnight with 54 Yellowtail for 25 anglers.

Full Day Yellowtail

The San Diego is back on the Yellowtail! Captain Ryan caught 76 yellowtail and one 50# bluefin for their 34 anglers. For the yellowtail, flylined 30# test is the go to. For the bluefin small heavy lures on 40-50# test is working.

1.5 Day Counts

The Polaris Supreme returned from their 1.5 Day trip this morning with 48 bluefin for their 24 anglers. The Pacifica also returned, and they had 26 bluefin on the boat for their 24 anglers.

Small to medium sized Flat-falls were the jig of choice for the bluefin fishing!
