The bass bite stayed consistent this past week, despite the algae bloom, and heavy boat traffic later in the week. Fly-lined plastics, and finesse techniques fished in 2’ to 25’ produced throughout the day. Most of the largemouth have been in the 1-2 pound range. Bluegill and red ear still haven’t shown in numbers as of yet, though most anglers targeting them managed to get a few in the nag. Drop shotting mealworms, and crawlers worked best for the panfish. Catfish were unreported to the concession last week.
