We have stripers and trout that are being landed in various spots. The trout fishing at Rotary Park is doing well with night crawlers power bait producing some limits some of the small trout jigs and spinners have been working well. Our visiting anglers fishing at Rotary Park Levi Farias from Yucaipa California had landed a couple and was able to bring in this little fellow to show me he was catching fish. Our other angler Cali Selby (8 years old) was fishing with family at the nature center from shore using anchovies and she landed a 4.74 pound striper at 23 and 1/4 inches. I have been getting reports of both stripers and rainbow trout in the nature center area. Anglers are having luck tossing jigs like the z mans tubz in a ppj (peanut butter and jelly) j color along the shore line. Also anchovies and night crawlers have been getting a few hook ups. The casino area and the community park also have been doing well for stripers mostly in the 1 to 5 pound range.

The only word form up on Lake Mohave has been a few small mouth bass in the 4 pound range one angler stopped in and showed a picture of one he landed using a arisha glide bait. This usually produces some great striper hook ups but a nice surprise none the less.

Not much word form the marsh as of yet but our weather is sure to change that as we are heating up right along with the fishing. hope this helps for now and we look forward to seeing you to share that catch and the story along with the action. Mostly thanks for all of your support
