Prosser Reservoir is fishing really great for rainbow, cutthroat, and bass. It is probably the best reservoir for fishing in Truckee currently. Anglers trolling in should use small rapalas, a dodger with a small nightcrawler, or speedy shiners and focus their efforts in front of the dam. Shore fishing has been best by the boat ramp and near the prosser creek inlet. Anglers fly fishing can find great float tubing opportunities using wooly buggers, black leeches, or callibaetis.
Prosser Creek Reservoir is currently at 50% capacity.
