BAG LIMITS AND SIZE LIMITS FOR ALL SPECIES (see exceptions) HAVE BEEN LIFTED FROM July 15 through Sept 6 (exceptions: tiger musky and bull trout must be released unharmed). This temporary rule change has been put into effect due to extreme drought conditions, and consistently elevated air and water temperatures, presenting a high potential for a fish kill to occur.
Phillips Reservoir water levels are sustaining at the lowest level seen in its 56-year history. NOTES:
- These same temporary rule changes are also in effect for the Powder River between Thief Valley Reservoir and Phillips Reservoir.
- Those looking to launch a boat should avoid the Union Creek Campground boat launch as the water level is far below the launch – please use the boat ramp near Mason Dam.
