Good fishing on the Truckee River. 

The smoke has rolled back in though. Some days are better than others with the smoke. Just depends on what the winds doing.

Flows are down just a tad from last week out of Lake Tahoe. They bumped them up out of Boca. That’s all cold bottom fed water out of Boca. That along with colder mornings have put water temps down into the mid 50’s here in the Hirsch.

I hate to say this, but smoke acts like cloud cover, fish like cover. You should still have crayfish on your mind, or large stones for anchors, and something smaller up top. Start thinking about streamer fishing with the smoke and colder nights.
